The terms for using ClearMind.

These Terms govern your use of ClearMind. By using ClearMind, you agree to these Terms.

The Service

ClearMind is an AI-powered thinking tool that helps you work through decisions using structured mental frameworks.

The service includes guided decision intake, AI-supported framework selection, walkthrough questions, clarity summaries, reflections, and a decision journal.

ClearMind is a thinking aid. It is not legal, medical, financial, therapeutic, or other professional advice.

Minimum Age

ClearMind is intended for users 16 years and older. By using the service, you confirm you are at least 16.

Your Account

You are responsible for providing accurate account information.

You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.

If you believe your account has been compromised, contact support@withclearmind.com.

Acceptable Use

  • Do not use ClearMind to abuse, disrupt, or attack the service.
  • Do not scrape, reverse-engineer, or attempt to bypass technical protections.
  • Do not bypass rate limits, billing limits, authentication, or access controls.
  • Do not submit harmful, unlawful, or abusive content.
  • Do not use automated systems to create accounts, generate traffic, or interfere with normal use of the service.

Payment Terms

ClearMind Pro costs $12 per month.

Subscriptions renew monthly unless cancelled.

Billing is handled by Stripe.

You can manage or cancel your subscription through the Billing Portal.

If you cancel, you keep Pro access until the end of the current billing period.

We do not provide refunds for partial billing periods unless required by law.

Your Content

You own the decision text, answers, reflections, and other content you enter into ClearMind.

You give ClearMind permission to process your content as needed to provide the service, including AI triage, walkthrough, clarity, journal, storage, and account features.

We may also process or disclose your content when required by applicable law, for example in response to a valid legal request.

ClearMind's Intellectual Property

ClearMind owns the application, interface, code, brand, design, prompts, and service structure.

You may not copy, resell, or operate a competing service using ClearMind's protected materials.

AI Outputs

ClearMind uses AI to generate structure, questions, summaries, and reflections.

AI output may be incomplete, inaccurate, or unsuitable for your situation.

You are responsible for your decisions and for checking any output before relying on it.

Termination

You may stop using ClearMind at any time.

You may cancel a Pro subscription through the Billing Portal.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, abuse the service, or create legal or security risk.

Limitation of Liability

ClearMind is provided as-is and as available.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClearMind is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, lost data, or business interruption.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, ClearMind's total liability for claims related to the service is limited to the amount you paid to ClearMind in the three months before the claim.

Changes to the Service or Terms

We may update the service or these Terms from time to time.

If changes are material, we will make reasonable efforts to notify users through the service or by email.

Continuing to use ClearMind after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of New Zealand.
